Job Description:
Our client, a busy medical clinic in Toronto, is looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the clinic staff and ensure the smooth running of office operations.
Responsibilities:
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Greet and assist patients and visitors
– Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
– Manage office supplies and inventory
– Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
– Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails
– Data entry and record-keeping
– Assist with billing and invoicing
– Perform general office tasks as needed
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
– Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
