The Senior Electrical Designer position at Introba in Vancouver, BC, offers a salary between $80,000 and $100,000 per year. This full-time, permanent role involves collaborating with a team to deliver innovative building engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Team Leader/Project Manager by setting up and maintaining design files.
• Perform cable calculations and lighting modeling.
• Design low voltage (LV), high voltage (HV), control, and lighting systems with minimal supervision.
• Ensure adherence to Introba’s design checklist and AutoCAD standards.
• Review or prepare final motor lists and equipment selections.
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other project disciplines.
• Confirm service requirements and connections with utility and municipal agencies.
• Attend project progress meetings and field reviews.
• Review and supervise drafting, providing markups as needed.
• Assist with fee proposal preparation and maintain client relations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years AutoCAD experience and over 5 years in designing LV, HV, control, and lighting systems.
• Revit experience is advantageous.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and electrical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of electrical building services engineering codes.
• Proficiency in conducting detailed site surveys.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in coaching and teaching.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas in meetings with architects and consultants.
• Professional Engineer (PEng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designations are highly preferred.
• LEED® Accredited Professional designation is an asset.
