Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: $20 – $22 per hour

Our client, a well-established company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their finance team in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.

Key responsibilities:
– Process invoices, coding, and data entry
– Reconcile vendor statements and assist with payment inquiries
– Prepare and post journal entries
– Assist with month-end and year-end close process
– Perform account reconciliations
– Assist with various ad-hoc projects as needed
– Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:
– Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or related field
– 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
– Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
