Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management: Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and documented, and that all project participants understand the HSE requirements.

Client Relationship Management: Identify, document, and communicate client requirements. Manage multiple stakeholders and maintain healthy client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Resolve performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues proactively.

Commercial Management: Manage projects in accordance with contracts.

Scope Management: Oversee the handover from the Business Development Group. Define project scope and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Manage change control processes and project interfaces, including High Value Engineering Centers.

Time Management: Plan all scope elements of the project. Develop resource and financial requirements from the project plan. Manage design, procurement, and construction activities to meet project schedules.

Cost Control: Prepare accurate project estimates and establish cost reports for project control. Monitor and control all cost aspects of the project.

Quality Management: Define project quality requirements according to the overall Project Quality Program.

Team Management: Provide clear and focused leadership for the project team. Provide mentoring and participate in staff performance evaluations.

Communications Management: Ensure accurate and timely progress reporting to the client and internally. Monitor the communication network between project staff, the client, and third parties.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and opportunities. Monitor closure of all identified risks and opportunities.

Design Management: Set clear objectives for the design team. Ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
Essential skills for this role include a minimum of 10 years of experience in supervisory, project management, and technical roles within the Oil and Gas sector, at least 8 years of experience with project execution, management, and control methodologies, and 7+ years of experience managing projects through their entire life cycle, from FEED to Commissioning. A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset. The pay range for this position is $70.00 – $100.00/hr. This is a hybrid position in Vancouver, BC.
