Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team at a reputable accounting firm. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with tax preparation, conducting research on tax laws, and providing support to clients during tax audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and complete tax returns for individuals and businesses
– Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
– Communicate with clients to collect necessary financial information
– Assist in responding to tax-related inquiries and notices from government agencies
– Provide support during tax audits and examinations
– Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– CPA license preferred
– 2+ years of experience in tax preparation or accounting
– Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
