Our client, a leader in the retail industry, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team in North York, Ontario. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
– Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
– Oversee employee training and development programs
– Handle employee relations issues and conflict resolution
– Manage performance management process
– Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations
– Partner with senior management to provide HR support and guidance
– Lead and direct HR team members

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
– 5+ years of HR management experience
– Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
– Experience in retail industry preferred
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
– HR certification (e.g. CHRP, SHRM-CP) preferred
