Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $45,000 – $48,000 per year

A well-established company in Toronto is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

– Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
– Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies
– Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
– Corresponding with vendors to obtain information or answer inquiries
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files
– Assisting with month-end closing and reporting as needed
– Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

– 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Experience working with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.) is an asset
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
