Project Manager – Geoscience

Position Summary

Our client is a globally operating group, with its home base in Germany and a fantastic reputation on an international level. Their teams operate in the DACH region of Europe and therefore, we are looking for you to join their team in Vienna.

As a Project Manager in their Geoscience department, you will work on cutting-edge projects and develop new business strategies within the oil and gas sector. The client base includes major operators, governmental bodies, service companies and small to medium enterprises.

You will be an integral part of the success of the Geoscience team and work actively towards making our client the go-to partner in the sector.

Key Responsibilities
– Manage geoscience projects from conception to completion
– Develop strategies to win new business
– Manage relationships with key clients
– Oversee project budgets and timelines
– Lead a multidisciplinary team of geoscientists, engineers, and technicians

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within geoscience
– Strong technical skills in geology, geophysics, or reservoir engineering
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Fluent in English and German
