Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Home Care

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Job Description:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Support Workers in Home Care. The PSW will be responsible for providing personal care services to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living, and helping to promote independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities Include:
– Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
– Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
– Support clients with medication reminders
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
– Perform light housekeeping tasks
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Document and report any changes in client’s condition to the supervisor

Qualifications:
– Completion of a recognized PSW program or equivalent experience
– Valid certification as a PSW
– Experience working in home care or long-term care settings
– Compassionate and caring attitude
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
