Job Description

Position: Office Administrator

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year

We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The administrator will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Organize and schedule appointments
– Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
– Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
– Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
– Develop and maintain a filing system
– Update and maintain office policies and procedures
– Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
– Maintain contact lists
– Book travel arrangements
– Submit and reconcile expense reports
– Provide general support to visitors
– Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Requirements:
– Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
– Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
– Excellent organizational skills
– Excellent knowledge of MS Office and proficient typing skills
– Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
– Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
– Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
