The incumbent will lead project management efforts for new product identification in both global and US markets. Their main responsibility is to establish, standardize, and implement project management processes.
Job Description:

The Research Scientist will be responsible for conducting and developing innovative research projects related to the company’s product development. The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, and will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings to cross-functional teams. The Research Scientist will also be involved in literature review, manuscript preparation, and grant writing.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, design, and execute experiments to support company’s research goals
– Analyze data using various statistical methods and present results to internal teams
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development projects
– Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific literature, technologies, and tools
– Prepare manuscripts for publication in scientific journals and assist in grant writing efforts
– Maintain accurate and organized records of experiments and results
– Adhere to company’s safety guidelines and protocols
– Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute new ideas and insights

Qualifications:

– PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in a research role, preferably in the biotechnology industry
– Strong hands-on experience with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Proven track record of project management and successful research outcomes
