Title: Behavioral Health Tech – Residential Staff – Nova Scotia – Canada

Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Tech – Residential Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide direct care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs
– Supervise and monitor individuals to ensure their safety and well-being
– Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, hygiene, and medication administration
– Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in individual treatment plans
– Collaborate with treatment team members to provide individualized care
– Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interventions

Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent required
– Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Compassionate and patient demeanor
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
