Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing HR expertise and support to managers and employees
– Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
– Conduct recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees, including job posting, interviewing, and orientation
– Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related issues, including employee development, training, and career planning
– Analyze HR data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
– Collaborate with HR team members to develop and deliver HR programs and initiatives
– Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and business partnering
– Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Ontario
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– HR certification (e.g. CHRP/CHRL) is an asset
