This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. Immediate start available.Responsibilities:Operate diamond drill equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.Conduct daily maintenance and minor repairs on drill equipment.Accurately record drilling data and report progress to supervisors.Work collaboratively with drilling team members in remote camp environments.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in diamond drilling operations.Valid driver’s license.Ability to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Surface Diamond Drilling or equivalent.First Aid, WHMIS, and other relevant safety certifications.Work Environment:Remote camp setting with provided accommodations.Flights provided to and from the site.Work involves exposure to outdoor weather and physical labor.Benefits:Hourly wage with drilling bonus.Camp accommodations included.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Comprehensive Benefits Package:

- Operate and maintain drilling equipment: Efficiently operate various drilling rigs and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and rock sampling: Perform accurate sampling procedures to gather data for environmental and geotechnical analysis.
- Install monitoring wells and piezometers: Set up and install monitoring wells and piezometers to track groundwater levels and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations: Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental guidelines to protect personnel and the environment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate drilling logs and reports: Document drilling activities, sample collection, and site conditions in detailed logs and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues: Identify and address any mechanical or operational issues with drilling equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment: Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in environmental or geotechnical drilling.
- Certification: Class 3 Well Technician certification.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of drilling techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to drilling operations.
