Title: Community Support Worker

Location: Victoria, BC

Salary: $18.45 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in providing support and care to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to empowering individuals to live independently and participate in their community.

Responsibilities:
– Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
– Assist individuals in participating in community activities and social events
– Implement individualized support plans and promote independence and personal choice
– Foster positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other support networks
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided

Qualifications:
– Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., social work, human services, psychology)
– Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a community support capacity

– Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
