The Administrative Assistant I reports to the Manager of Ambulatory Care and Regional Poison Centre and provides administrative support by preparing, typing, and transcribing reports, project documents, and correspondences. They also handle photocopying and distributing tasks.

Job Description:

Our client, a prestigious private university in New York City, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Program Director to oversee and manage academic programs within the university’s School of Business. The Academic Program Director will be responsible for program development, curriculum design, student recruitment, faculty recruitment and management, academic advising, and accreditation compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs within the School of Business
– Collaborate with faculty to develop and modify curriculum based on industry trends and student needs
– Oversee the recruitment and retention of high-quality faculty members
– Manage student recruitment efforts, including development of marketing materials and participation in recruitment events
– Provide academic advising and support to students enrolled in the School of Business programs
– Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and oversee reporting requirements
– Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners for internship and job placement opportunities for students

Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in business administration or related field; PhD is preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program management
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements
– Experience with student recruitment and retention strategies
– Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds
