Job Summary:
E.J. Welch Company is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join their team in Chesterfield, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping material to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and unload inbound material from trucks and stage in designated areas
2. Stock and organize material in the warehouse
3. Pick and pack orders for shipment
4. Load outbound trucks with material for customer deliveries
5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
6. Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
7. Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 1-2 years of warehouse or material handling experience
3. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
4. Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred
5. Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory control
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
