The ATF is a state of art test facility that allows aircraft engine manufacturers to test turboprop, turboshaft and APU engines at the correct environmental conditions of temperature, pressure, humidity and inlet dynamic pressure corresponding to target altitude and aircraft forward speed.The student will be working with the Test Coordinator on the preparation phase of various test campaigns. Related activities include the design and development of test procedures, test sections, instrumentation, fuel/oil systems, control systems, accessories, and special test components.
