The Project Control Officer will work in Downtown Toronto, ON on a hybrid contract for 1 year. They will support the Delivery Manager in ensuring all necessary areas are represented on the project team and in maintaining project control.

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year

Our client, a reputable construction company in Toronto, is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
– Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
– Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
– Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, and provide regular progress updates to senior management
– Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
– Lead and mentor project teams to ensure productivity and accountability
– Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the commercial or industrial sector
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
– Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
– PMP or other relevant certification is considered an asset
