Job Description:

Hampshire County Council is looking for a dedicated Youth Guidance Programme Worker to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting young people in accessing appropriate services and developing their skills and potential.

Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering individual and group support sessions to young people
– Working collaboratively with other professionals to provide a holistic support package for young people
– Supporting young people in accessing educational, training, and employment opportunities
– Monitoring and evaluating the progress of young people in the programme
– Maintaining accurate records of interventions and outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:
– Experience working with young people facing challenges such as mental health, substance misuse, or offending behaviour
– A relevant qualification in youth work, social work, or a related field
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of local community resources and services
