Location: Ottawa, ON

Salary: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations including staff management, customer service, and financial management.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the General Manager in recruiting, training, and supervising staff
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
– Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
– Monitor and maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Manage and control costs in accordance with budget guidelines
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
– Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies

Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
– Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
