Job Description

Position: Accountant

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budget planning and monitoring.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for accurate financial reporting
– Assist in budget planning and monitoring
– Prepare financial statements and reports to senior management
– Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements
– Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
– Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
– Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
