Job Description

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Richmond, BC

Salary: $20-25 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, medical terminology, and assisting healthcare professionals in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and register patients upon arrival
– Collect patient medical history and vital signs
– Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
– Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
– Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
– Administer medications under the direction of a physician
– Enter patient information into electronic medical records system
– Provide patient education and support as needed

Qualifications:
– Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting
– Current CPR certification
– Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
– Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic is preferred
