Title: Early Childhood Educator

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $23.56 – $25.80 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Our client, a reputable childcare center in Calgary, AB, is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-6 years.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs to promote children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development
– Plan and supervise educational playtime and outdoor activities
– Observe and assess children’s behavior and progress, and communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s development
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
– Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols
– Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required

Requirements:
– Early Childhood Education Diploma or relevant certification
– Valid CPR and First Aid certification
– Experience working with young children in a daycare or childcare setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Ability to provide a clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
