Job Description:

– Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
– Receive new and refill prescription orders from customers and healthcare providers
– Maintain inventory of prescription and over-the-counter medications
– Process insurance claims and provide excellent customer service
– Provide assistance to customers with over-the-counter medication questions and purchases
– Keep the pharmacy clean and organized
– Follow all regulatory guidelines and company policies

Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant program is an asset
– Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
– Knowledge of prescription and over-the-counter medications
– Ability to work as part of a team
