Position: Human Resources Assistant

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR and strong organizational skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the HR field and grow their career.

Responsibilities:
– Assist with recruiting, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
– Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding processes
– Administer benefits and leave programs
– Maintain employee records and HRIS system
– Assist with performance management processes
– Support HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– 1-2 years of HR experience preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Knowledge of HR best practices and regulations
