Job Description:

North Country Animal League is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Assistant to join our team in Morrisville, VT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care for animals in our care, including feeding, grooming, socializing, and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

– Feeding and watering animals according to their specific dietary needs
– Grooming animals as needed
– Ensuring animals have clean living quarters
– Providing socialization and enrichment activities for animals
– Monitoring animals for any signs of illness or injury
– Assisting with medical treatments as directed by veterinary staff
– Maintaining accurate records of animal care and behavior

Qualifications:
