Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated, licensed practical nurse to join our team. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and assisting with patient assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

– Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
– Administer medication and assist with medication management
– Perform patient assessments and document findings
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
– Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
– Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
– Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

– Licensed Practical Nurse diploma from an accredited program
– Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
– CPR certification
