Job Description:
Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Support Worker to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children in need, as well as collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the well-being of the children under our care.

Responsibilities:
– Provide emotional support and guidance to children in challenging situations
– Work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals to create effective support plans for each child
– Facilitate activities and programs that promote the social, emotional, and physical development of the children
– Monitor and document the progress and behavior of the children under your care
– Advocate for the rights and well-being of the children, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources

Qualifications:
– Degree or diploma in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or a related field
– Previous experience working with children in a support or care setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
– Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and attachment theory
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
