Title: Community Engagement Coordinator

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 a year

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team in Calgary. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with the community, build relationships, and promote our organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute community engagement plans and initiatives
– Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers
– Coordinate and facilitate community events, workshops, and outreach programs
– Develop and distribute communication materials to engage with the community
– Monitor and evaluate the impact of community engagement activities
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
– Stay current on community trends, issues, and opportunities

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in community development, social work, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in community engagement or related field
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational and project management skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
– Knowledge of community development principles and practices
