Job Description

Position: Early Childhood Educator

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $25 – $30 per hour

Our client, a well-established childcare center in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
– Provide a stimulating and engaging environment for children
– Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children
– Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of children’s progress
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom
– Ensure the health and safety of all children at all times
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
– Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification
– Current First Aid and CPR certification
– Previous experience working in a childcare setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
