WSP is looking for a Project Manager to join their Building Sciences group. The Project Manager will be responsible for assigning project teams, managing projects to meet deadlines and budgets, and understanding project requirements.
Title: Social Worker – Child Protection

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Job Description:
Our client, a social services agency in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their Child Protection team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling and support services, and collaborate with other professionals to address complex issues affecting children.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the safety and well-being of children
– Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals
– Provide counseling and support services to children and families
– Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
– Collaborate with child welfare agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and other community resources
– Advocate for children and families to ensure they receive the services and support they need
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work
– Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation
– Experience working in child protection or a related field
– Knowledge of child welfare policies and legislation
– Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
