Job description: This role requires proven experience in agency recruitment, along with demonstrated success leading a team within an agency environment.We’re looking for a remote Junior Recruitment Manager in the recruiting and professional services industry.

This is a team that celebrates wins, values discipline and continuously improves what matters.The Junior Recruitment Manager will support the leadership of a growing recruitment team, helping to drive performance, support team development, and contribute hands-on to search efforts. This is a great opportunity for a achievement focused junior leader that is ready to step into people leadership and grow with a scaling organization.Junior Recruitment Manager responsibilities:
- Support and coach a team of 3–4 recruiters
- Coach, mentor and lead candidate sourcing, headhunting, candidate cold calling, screening, relationship building and offer negotiations
- Help track team KPIs and ensure individual and team performance goals are met
- Collaborate on hiring and onboarding as the team grows
- Use platforms like Salesforce, Slack, Google Meet, and 90.io to manage team communication and reporting
- Work closely with leadership to align recruitment execution with business goals
- Participate in daily huddles, weekly one-on-ones, and performance check-ins
The successful candidate has:
- 5–7 years of recruitment experience in an agency environment is required
- 1–2 years of team leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, training, and supporting an agency recruitment team, is a must
- Experience in sales agency recruitment is preferred and considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- A natural driver who is achievement-focused, goal-oriented, and thrives in a performance-driven setting
- Confident leadership style with the ability to lead by example, manage performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify training gaps to support team success
- Highly skilled in headhunting, sourcing, cold calling and offer negotiations
- A strong track record of meeting KPIs and consistently contributing to team goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy, with experience using both an ATS and CRM; experience with Salesforce is an asset
- A proactive, motivating, and collaborative working style
- Must be based in Canada and able to work full-time during Eastern Time Zone hours
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
