The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!Responsible for China + 1 coordination with cross functional teams on selected categories (Battery, PSU & Printhead). Working with other functional teams in Supply Chain resiliency and continunity on critical Tier 3,4 and 5 components/materials aside from our Tier 1 and Tier 2 direct components.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
  • Increase technology knowledge and skills
  • Develop team-based work proficiencies
  • Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities
  • Develop process mapping & create RACI
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Safety and Regulatory on China + 1 priority commodities (Battery and Power) agreed by our ELT and BoD
  • Provide regular cadence and readout on Supplier status
  • Research cell manufacturers (Pouch), evaluate and understand the cost and technology aspect
  • Work closely with Strategic Component Teams (cross functional committee) to improve on lessons learned and evolving requirements due to tariff impact

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP. THIS INTERN MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE AT ZEBRA’S MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO OFFICE AT LEAST 3 DAYS/WEEK.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM field AND Supply Chain
  • Must have an anticipated graduation date by May 2027
  • Must be authorized to work in the Canada without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
