Based in Toronto, the Junior Technical Support Analyst Intern will report to the Supervisor, Client Support and will support the IT Team.Your Responsibilities:Desk-side support for a highly critical financial services environment (Downtown locations)Perform remote assistance support functions for different Regional Offices (Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, London and Boston) to ensure immediate issue resolutionPerform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) functions related to end user computing setup and maintenance of Desktops, Laptops, Mobile (iOS) devices including but not limited to installation of hardware components, installing softwareInvestigate and troubleshoot various hardware, software and networking related issuesUtilize helpdesk applications and IT knowledgebase to handle incidents and manage problem determinationDocument all activities pertaining to incident resolutionsKnowledgeable with Citrix and VPN Remote Access SolutionsFacilitate interactions between IT and the different Business units to resolve issues encountered in their day to day operationsFamiliarity with Microsoft SCCM, Intune is an asset but not requiredYour Qualifications:Enrolled in post-secondary educatiThree years working knowledge of the Windows operating systems.Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software and network connectivity issues.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Office 365, etc.)Good written and verbal communication skills.Good time management skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and deal with multiple deadlines.Ability to learn quickly and apply technical solutions in a diverse environment.Enthusiastic and motivated.Able to take direction and demonstrate initiativeStrong Technical documentation skillsAvailable to work overtime and weekends when required for special projectsNo unsolicited agency referrals please.AGF is an equal opportunity employer.
