Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Yorkdale, you will be part of an inspiring marketing team and brand builders who collaborate and execute industry-leading initiatives.As a member of the team, your responsibilities and tasks include:Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Social Media Management
- Maintain monthly calendar to support monthly content on web, email and social media.
- Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages, escalating crisis communications as needed.
- Coordinate on-site photo and video shoots for social media, working with national photographers or influencers.
- Develop storyboards for Reels and integrate influencer content across all digital platforms.
- Use tools like WordPress and Emplifi to post content on platforms.
Event & Activations
- Maintain event planner and analysis document and annually archive event records, files, and folders.
- Coordinate logistics and execution of all events, activations and sponsorships.
- Facilitate communication with holiday suppliers, including installation and strike logistics.
Marketing Plan & Budget Management
- Assist the MM in implementing the annual marketing plan, and evaluate the performance of tracking ROI & KPIs.
- Process monthly invoices and provide inputs for budget control. Review and report on monthly budget variances.
Tenant Relations
- Support onboarding of new stores and find ways to elevate ongoing tenant relationships.
- Coordinate meeting logistics and presentations for tenant meetings.
Public Relations & Community Relations
- Record and analyze PR impressions, sharing findings with MM
- Support the MM in coordinating media events.
- Maintain communication plans and follow up with the centre’s PR agency.
- Respond to donation requests and coordinate logistics for non-profits
Brand & Creative Strategy
- Brand QA on website, social media, and email platforms.
- Coordinate the printing and distribution of centre signage.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or other relevant experience.
- University degree in marketing (advertising or public relations) or another relevant field.
- Retail and shopping centre experience is an asset.
- A creative and dynamic thinker who prioritizes a global vision of the company and its customers.
- Deep understanding of social media and content trends to drive engagement.
- High level of competence in budget management and event management.
- Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with autonomy, rigour, and professionalism.
- Effective time management and excellent organizational skills.
- Problem-solving abilities while maintaining a positive attitude.
