Job description: Marketing Specialist – Architecture (No Proposals)City Build Recruitment is working with a highly regarded architecture firm seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their Toronto office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling, brand strategy, and business development within the architecture and design industry.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & CommunicationsDevelop and implement an ongoing social media strategy to enhance the firms presence and reputation.Maintain and cultivate the firms website content, ensuring it aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.Build and execute a content calendar focused on targeted industry recognition, including speaking engagements and award submissions.Research and promote opportunities for partners and principals to participate in industry events, conferences, and media features.Actively create marketing materials that support the firms business development efforts.Writing & Content CreationCore to this role is writingsocial media posts, press releases, proposals, and marketing materials.Create engaging, well-crafted content without requiring extensive oversight.Manage the firms brand storytelling through compelling digital and print content.Ensure all communications reflect the firms voice, expertise, and values.Business Development & OutreachIdentify and track award opportunities, manage submission timelines, and prepare entries.Secure speaking engagements and media features to elevate the firms profile in key markets.Organize and implement a strategic content calendar to align with the firms business development goals.Qualifications3+ years of experience in a similar marketing or communications role (5+ years preferred).Strong writing and content creation skillsthis is the core of the job.Ability to operate autonomously and drive marketing initiatives without constant oversight.Highly organized and strategic, with experience planning and executing marketing calendars.Experience managing social media, digital marketing, and website updates.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and SEO best practices.Industry experience in architecture, design, or professional services marketing is preferred.Why Apply?This firm offers a collaborative and innovative workplace, where your expertise in marketing and storytelling will directly contribute to their success.
