Job description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionThe Senior Analyst, Global Infrastructure Investments role will play an important role in the ongoing investment management of the RBC Global Infrastructure Fund, which is a key component of the Private Markets platform.Reporting to Andrew Hay (Head, Global Infrastructure Investments), the successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of the private infrastructure investment lifecycle: developing strategy, portfolio design and management, deal sourcing/origination, due diligence, deal execution, valuation, investment management, and reporting.For more information, please visit: https://www.rbcgam.com/en/caThis is a new position.What will you do?Initial Responsibilities:Global Infrastructure Fund (90%+)An entrepreneurial opportunity to support the management of the fund strategy, connecting with internal stakeholders and external clients and partnersBuild (and operate) sophisticated infrastructure financial modelsSupport quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investmentsLead certain workstreams within a due diligence processMake substantial contributions to written materials, such as Investment Recommendations for the fund’s Investment and Governance Committee meetings, and recurring quarterly investor reportingContribute to thematic sourcing initiatives on a global basisPerform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts, working in a collaborative manner with colleagues across RBC GAMTo contribute to sophisticated portfolio analytics or other adhoc analysisPrivate Markets Strategy (up to 10%)To support the development and management of the Private Market investment platform, which includes Real Estate, Mortgages, Infrastructure, and which may expand to include other strategies in the futureRBC GAM’s high performance and collaborative culture is a key strength of the organization.
