Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Delinquent Payments and Resident Retention Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing delinquent payments while supporting leasing and marketing efforts to attract and retain residents. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a keen understanding of property management and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage delinquent accounts, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with the leasing team to enhance marketing strategies aimed at attracting prospective residents.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current residents to encourage timely payments and renewals.
• Assist in creating promotional materials and campaigns that highlight community features and benefits.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Analyze payment trends and develop reports to identify opportunities for improvement in collections and resident retention.
• Work with management to implement policies and procedures for delinquent accounts while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in property management, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of leasing and marketing tactics relevant to property management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
