This role will oversee the end-to-end strategy and operations for content across RBC’s public-facing websites—spanning both consumer and non-consumer audiences—to ensure we tell a cohesive, compelling, and customer-first story that reflects who we are, what we stand for, and the value we deliver to clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve.This leader will play a critical role in simplifying and evolving our information architecture and digital content hubs, support the modernization of our content management capabilities in alignment with our broader digital transformation vision, and enabling faster speed to market through the implementation of scalable workflows, best-in-class practices, and cross-functional alignment and partnership.What Will You Do?Content Journey Strategy & Experience DesignDefine and lead the strategic vision for RBC’s public site content journeys, ensuring alignment across brand, marketing, corporate communications, corporate citizenship, investor relations, thought leadership and community initiatives i.e., across the EnterpriseReimagine how digital visitors navigate and consume content by simplifying and consolidating public content hubs through user-centric information architecture and cross-journey storytelling.Partner closely with UX, design, analytics, accessibility, and SEO teams to ensure experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and outcome-driven.Platform Enablement, Capability Development & IntegrationCollaborate with technology and business partners to evolve our digital content platforms—driving improvements in CMS capabilities, modular content frameworks, workflows, and governance models.Champion the enablement of tools and features that empower teams across the bank to create, manage, and publish content to our public-facing platforms with agility, control, and brand consistency.Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure features and deliverables provide maximum value to content stakeholders and the business.Content Operations & GovernanceLead day-to-day digital content operations for the RBC public website, including upholding governance, publishing standards, compliance, and quality assurance.Establish scalable workflows and operating models that enable speed, control, and consistent execution across teams.Performance & Business InsightManage OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and leverage analytics and reporting tools to monitor digital content performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven strategic recommendations.Translate insights into action by guiding continuous optimization across journeys, platforms, and operations.Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and connector across business stakeholders across the Enterprise and IT.Inspire cross-functional collaboration and guide teams through complexity—bringing creative energy, strategic focus, and a customer-first mindset.What do you need to succeed?5 to 10+ years of experience in digital product management, digital experience strategy, digital content strategy, digital media, editorial operations and/or enterprise content ecosystemsDeep understanding of user experience, development operations, content systems (CMS), and both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.Proven ability to define and deliver digital product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned to evolving business objectives with a customer-first lens.Experience leading large-scale digital redesigns, content architecture simplification, or platform enablement initiatives.Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret and act on reporting and performance data to drive continuous improvement and measurable impact.Experience & expertise in SEO.Previous experience leveraging digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.Strong relationship-building capabilities with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills.Ability to clearly distill technical digital marketing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational, program and time management capabilities.Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.Previous experiencing leading and managing a team.Comfort navigating complex enterprise environments, managing through ambiguity, and driving outcomes with creativity, discipline, and resilience.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
