Job description: Job Description:Our client, TIFF is looking for a Vice President, Market. The Vice President, Market defines and drives the strategic vision for TIFF’s new Content Market. This role leads the Market team in scaling the Market while delivering an experience that aligns to the excellence and innovation the organization is known for. The Vice President, Market will build and nurture relationships with key industry figures globally, and ensure the Market’s programs are inclusive and reflective of diverse cultural contexts. You will work closely with the Chief Programming Officer to bring this new initiative to fruition. This role will spearhead TIFF’s strong legacy of being the premiere hub that connects artists with industry.Responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of TIFF’s Market offering, including building, leading and scaling a new team to deliver.
- Business & Revenue Focus: Identify and drive new revenue streams, including sponsorships, partnerships, and pass sales.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with key industry figures and partners across the world.
- Event Production: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Market event to a high standard of quality and efficiency, ensuring the execution of the event vision is realized in every aspect.
- Innovation & Growth: Drive innovation by introducing new features, digital solutions, partnerships, and activations that enhance the Market and increase its reach.
- Trends & Relevance: Stay informed on film/tv and adjacent industry trends.
