Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Hospital Operations and Strategic Initiatives to support AdventHealth in enhancing our overall service delivery and operational efficiency. This vital role encompasses various responsibilities to drive excellence in Hospital Operations, Leadership Development, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Human Resources, and Physician Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hospital Operations Management: Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring compliance with standards, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining high levels of patient care and satisfaction.

• Leadership Development: Design and implement programs to develop current and future leaders within the hospital. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among staff and management.

• Marketing and Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to elevate brand awareness and promote hospital services. Lead strategic planning efforts to align operational goals with organizational vision and community needs, ensuring a strong market presence.

• Human Resources: Work closely with HR to develop strategies for recruitment, retention, and employee engagement, promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring alignment with organizational values.

• Physician Enterprise: Enhance collaboration with the Physician Enterprise team to optimize workflows, improve physician satisfaction, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

• Technology Infrastructure: Partner with IT to assess and improve the hospital’s technology infrastructure, enabling effective operations and enhancing patient care services.

• Digital Health Initiatives: Champion digital health strategies to improve patient engagement, accessibility, and health outcomes through the implementation of innovative solutions.

• Information Security: Collaborate with information security teams to safeguard sensitive patient data and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, promoting a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in hospital operations, strategic planning, and leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare marketing, human resources, and digital health trends.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a collaborative leadership style.
