Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Backlog Management and Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing mortgage loan backlogs while supporting marketing efforts and fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in the lending process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backlog Management: Monitor and manage the mortgage loan backlog, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications to meet company and regulatory deadlines.
• Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the mortgage lending team, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that promote loan products and services, engaging potential clients and enhancing brand visibility.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders—including loan officers, underwriters, real estate agents, and clients—to facilitate smooth transactions and communication.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on backlog status, client interactions, and marketing campaign effectiveness to management.
• Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with legal and industry standards to maintain the integrity of loan processing and stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in mortgage processing, backlog management, or customer support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
