Job Title: VDC Support Specialist – Electrical Systems

Job Description:

As a VDC Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process by providing accurate digital representations of electrical systems. Working closely with Project Layout Designers (PLD), you will help facilitate the creation of a comprehensive digital model in accordance with Miller Electric standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Layout Designers to understand the layout and design specifications for electrical systems.
• Develop and maintain high-quality digital models using Revit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Ensure accurate representation of electrical components, systems, and layouts in the digital models.
• Conduct regular reviews of digital models to identify and resolve inconsistencies or issues.
• Assist in the integration of various project components to enhance overall design coherence and efficiency.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the implementation of VDC processes.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with VDC processes and best practices is a plus.
