What Will You Work On?
The Manager, Channel Strategy role is responsible for designing, developing, executing and reviewing marketing solutions, to best achieve Partner and AIR MILES revenue objectives. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team dedicated to the delivery and planning of all digital marketing initiatives from strategic marketing solutions through to driving performance from our Partners.
How Will You Create Impact?
- Deliver strategic marketing solutions designed to profitably acquire, lift, shift and retain Collectors on behalf of the Partner’s business, while meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Create and maintain Partner Marketing Calendar, including offer suggestions for marketing channels, costs proposals based on data and history to provide accurate response rates, issuance costs and impact to Partners sales.
- Track historical programs and maintain historical trends on response and offers.
- Support base miles and bonus miles issuance goals by providing input for quarterly forecasting and variance analysis with input from the AD, Channel Strategy.
- Maintain and grow knowledge (Partner and Marketing) and be the loyalty marketing subject matter expert, monitoring trends within the industry and educating Partners on most innovative marketing strategies, concepts and best practices relevant to their business.
- Ongoing review of trade publications, marketing journals and industry trends to remain current and seeks relevant ways to apply trends to Partner’s marketing plan.
- Knowledgeable in best practices across Partner teams in the coalition with an understanding of Partners business and marketing imperatives from strategic and financial perspectives.
- Recommend solutions and ideas for non-air miles related marketing Interact with Marketing Collaborate with internal marketing teams to ensure AIR MILES marketing solutions meet Partners’ needs.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and results
- Thrives on collaboration with a “one-team attitude”, problem solving and accomplishing shared goals with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Leadership and managerial skills to manage and coach direct reports
- Strong project management skills complemented by the ability to marshal resources and work cross-functionally to meet Partner(s) needs and objectives
- Track-record of delivering on or above targets
- Experience working with creative agencies and having the ability to evaluate creative from a strategic standpoint
- Ability to sell marketing programs at the Manager and Director level
- A good understanding of Public Relations

Our COVID-19 Response
The well-being of our Associates is our top priority. Since March 2020, we made the decision to ask all Associates to work from home until further notice.
