Looking to grow your career in a creative environment? Join the TSN marketing team as a TSN Marketing Manager and work to continue the innovation, development and implementation of our sports strategy across a suite of platforms and products.
As part of the TSN Marketing team, and working with the various internal departments, this position will manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns for key TSN properties including strategic media and creative development. This role will be instrumental in all aspects of the TSN brand including brand building, audience growth and revenue generation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute marketing integrated campaigns across an array of marketing channels to achieve awareness, engagement, viewership and acquisition targets for various TSN properties
- Work closely with internal departments (programming, communications, production, digital, creative) and external partners, on the planning and execution of campaign elements to ensure deadlines are met and within assigned budgets.
- Responsible for leveraging measurement and evaluation tools to report the success of marketing campaigns with key Bell Media stakeholders.
- Work with the internal Bell Media insights teams to deliver research and learnings that will foster brand, audience and interactive growth across the TSN business.
- Day-to-day marketing contact with TSN rights holders to execute promotional requirements.
- Manage the creation/delivery of promotional/advertising materials secured through contractual broadcast relationships and paid corporate partnerships.
- Work with the internal distribution marketing team to develop and execute strategic campaigns supporting TSN brand management, subscriber acquisition, CSR training campaigns.
- Conduct frequent analysis on campaign/program performance to optimize efforts for the most efficient marketing mix, better understand our customers and our competitive positioning and to achieve KPI’s
- Monitor and report on ongoing industry marketing activity and best practices.
- Overall brand protection for TSN including TSN.ca, TSN App, TSN Direct and TSN social networks.
- Work with the Senior Manager of Marketing on marketing budgets and expenses aligned with this portfolio.
- Other marketing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong sports fandom accompanied by a passion for sports marketing and fan engagement.
- Expertise in digital marketing industry trends, competition and customer buying habits through various channels such as Google, GDN, Discovery, Bing, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and TikTok
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and processes
- Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills; strong focus on ROI
- Experience with data and customer segmentation as the basis for discovering actionable insights.
- A desire to bring innovative thinking around the importance how of digital platforms and strategy play an important role in overall growth of the TSN brand and priority properties.
- 3-5 years marketing experience with a proven track-record of brand planning, audience segmentation and campaign implementation.
- University/post-secondary education preferred with emphasis on Marketing/Digital Media.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience managing creative teams through strategic campaign development and execution.
- Connection with current and upcoming trends, as well as emerging technology and the competitive landscape.
- Bilingualism (English and French), considered a very strong asset
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to influence key stakeholders, as well as initiate and drive change
- Highly energetic team player with the ability to work collaboratively within the Marketing team and cross-functionally with other key stakeholder groups.
- Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment, set priorities and meet tight deadlines
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
