We’re looking for our next Senior Manager, Digital Banking Marketing Strategy. Could It Be You?
The purpose of this role is to lead the marketing strategy for Questrade Financial Group’s products and services.
What’s it like working as a Senior Manager, Digital Banking Marketing Strategy at Questrade?
Reporting to the Director of Brand, Marketing & Communications, the Senior Manager, Digital Banking Marketing Strategy plays a leadership role in translating Questrade’s product road maps and revenue goals into go-to-market and marketing strategies designed to assist in the attainment of those goals.
This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role which requires strong partnerships with our Product Management, Brand, Design, Content, Technology, and Customer Experience teams to build go-to-market plans, which help educate, engage, and empower our prospects and customers to understand our products/solutions, elevates the brand, and drives adoption and new customer demand.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Positive P&L by product and business line
- Increased revenue
- An increase in defined customer engagement metrics & acquisition targets

You will develop a holistic marketing strategy to support the launch of new products – including but not limited to market analysis, strategy & positioning. You will build strong knowledge around the competitive landscape, customer insights, industry flows and trends to develop and inform product positioning. You will work with the product team to develop value propositions and product positioning that builds product awareness and drives consumer demand. You will synthesize consumer insights, market trends (global and local), and competitive landscape to drive marketing decisions.
You will perform market research, gap analyses, and competitor research to identify marketing opportunities and threats and develop strategies to leverage or mitigate each respectively. You will lead competitive intelligence gathering, market research, and definition of customer and consumer personas. You will define, monitor, and maintain QFG’s competitive position. You will identify, quantify and select which market segments should be targeted. You will collaborate with Product Management to identify key functionality in each release, and the impact and value to customers. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and executives across the organization to gain buy-in on the go-to-market strategies. You will also support Questrade’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions, plans, and activities.

✔ You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
✔ You have 10+ years’ of relevant product marketing and marketing strategy experience
✔ You have experience in financial services/banking industry
✔ You have a strong voice in influencing cross-functional and leadership buy-in, specifically when introducing new strategies
✔ You have proven experience driving results
✔ You have a successful track record of building strong product/ product marketing strategies
✔ You have sound business acumen, judgment and decision-making
✔ You have the ability to build trust, reputation and credibility of marketing with senior leadership and across the organization
✔ You have the ability to be adaptable and deal with ambiguity and changing (& growing) priorities, with an eye for prioritization
✔ You have the ability to collaborate and listen. You value relationship-building and have no problem asking others “how can I help?” to help clear roadblocks, and genuinely want to understand the opinions of others in order to incorporate it into your strategies.
