Reporting to the Manager, Personalized Customer Incentives, the Associate Manager, Digital Marketing will partner with internal business teams and cross-functional groups to plan, strategize, and execute innovative data-driven targeted campaigns focused on optimizing how we communicate existing offers, and matching them to the right customer, at the right time, with the optimal message. They will support the management and delivery of a robust roadmap through each step of the process – idea inception/funnel prioritization, data review, and sizing, content/creative, post-mortem analysis, and more. This role provides a broad scope and touchpoints across all banners within our family of companies; there is ample opportunity for ownership and autonomy on campaign execution that directly impacts the business with quickly measurable results.
The ideal candidate is a good balance of creative and analytical – a strong collaborator and change agent with a customer-focused mindset. Someone excited to drive results and quickly use those to adjust course.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and develop a backlog of data-driven activation (DDA) campaigns to drive incremental sales
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to plan, develop, and execute campaign strategies across multiple channels (e.g. e-mail, social, pop-up, website, etc.).
- Use qualitative and quantitative customer data and research to identify key insights that inform optimal targeting and messaging strategy;
- Dive into the data to identify new and amplify/descope existing opportunities.
- Present the story, findings, and next steps succinct and digestible to key stakeholders.
- Manage campaign spend where applicable while maintaining business deliverables. Brief and work closely with internal creative design delivery teams;
- Prioritize the highest impact journeys and work on enhancing them and driving the meaningful outcomes;
- Project manage offer and content changes across paid media digital channels;
- Develop innovative approaches to reaching objectives, balancing tested methods with new ideas.
- Manage multiple campaigns on the go from beginning to end, ensuring key milestones and stakeholder communication points are kept on track.
- Develop localized marketing opportunities.
Who you are:
We are looking for high performing individuals who:
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Enjoy deriving a story from analytics, starting with audience identification through to applying consumer insights to improve campaign targeting.
- Are comfortable managing deliverables in an evolving and fast-paced environment – priorities can sometimes change but the core of what we do remains the same!
- Have a firm grasp of modern marketing principles, strategies, and activation levers, including social media, influencers, CRM, and performance marketing.
- Proficient in SQL and Phyton to handle large data sets in GCP / on-prem databases
- Understand the underlying data infrastructure,
- Understand Digital Analytics (GA360 and Firebase), Digital Marketing Platforms (Google, Facebook, CDPs, etc) and Email marketing (Saleforce)
What you’ve done:
- Business and/or Marketing degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience, including email, web, social and mobile.
- Demonstrated ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of alternative solutions.
- “Out of the box” thinker, not afraid to take calculated risks.
- Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task.
- Ability to prioritize realistic action plans and work within a complex environment.
- Strong planning and coordination skills; great attention to detail.
