The Channel Sales & Experience team is the place to be! Our highly engaged team supports third-party Channels – from National Retail banners like Best Buy to our valued Dealer partners across the country – all while driving performance across all Wireless and Wireline lines of business.

As a Marketing Manager, you will support our business by working directly with other members of the TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Outbound Dealer Program team while partnering with other cross functional teams in TBS and leadership to understand, prioritize and collaborate in defining the future roadmap that will enable our dealer’s success in the Small Medium Business (SMB) segment specific to campaign execution.

You will work with the leadership team in the development of our business go to market strategy that enables our dealers to effectively and fully exhaust all SMB Campaign lists on a monthly basis. Your role is responsible for driving performance of the Independent Dealer channel’s outbound SMB campaign teams for effective base management as well as developing strategic programs to drive cross sell opportunities in the dealer channel.

You possess superior communication, presentation, organization and relationship management skills. You are comfortable in ambiguous situations and rapid change. You are excited by the opportunity to make your mark in this growing area and provide the knowledge and expertise needed to take our team to the next level.

  • You have exemplary storyboarding skills with the ability to build slide decks quickly using analytics to drive continues improvements to dealer base
  • You are known for your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, such as building beautiful, succinct presentations and presenting them with confidence
  • You will help us make the best decisions for our business by bringing insight directly to our Leadership team
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a dynamic personality, and proven ability to work with stakeholders to get buy-in to drive change
  • You are known for having strong business acumen and a proven ability to synthesize business results into actionable insights
  • You are naturally curious and known as a problem solver with a strong determination to identify and overcome obstacles that may stop you from reaching your goals
  • You are known for taking a collaborative, integrated work style with a reputation that makes cross-functional teams want to work with you

Reporting to the Manager, Program Office you’ll bring your A-game by:

  • Working together with your channel to identify target-impacting challenges, dig into them until you identify the root cause, and then collaborate with relevant stakeholders across TELUS to find the best solution and ensure it gets implemented
  • Driving meaningful change with our partners in SMB Marketing by acting as our Dealer Champion, allowing our dealer sales teams to focus on what they do best: providing best-in-class customer sales experiences
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to implement dealer campaign outlier management programs and dealer productivity metrics to highlight successes and areas of opportunity

Your Knowledge Toolkit also consists of

  • Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, economics, finance or another related field
  • 2-3 years of sales/channel experience in the Telecommunications industry (ideally wireless), or similar industry
  • An understanding of Outbound/Field programs
  • Knowledge of the B2B segment
  • Solid understanding of metrics that drive TELUS Business
