Interns are an important part of the daily operations of construction projects in the office. They assist the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Quality Control Inspector

$22.56 to $26.00 hourly

Primary Function:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspection of products, analyzing data, and preparing and maintaining inspection records and reports. The Quality Control Inspector ensures that products meet company and industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Conduct product inspections to ensure they meet quality standards
– Maintain accurate and thorough inspection records
– Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformities
– Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on potential areas for improvement
– Communicate and collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues
– Follow and comply with all quality control standards and procedures
– Participate in quality control meetings and training as required
– Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in quality control or inspection preferred
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and specifications
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
